Squeare Weaving

This technique is an innovation of a rural community in Guatemala. Two bars are separated between each other to give the height of the piece desired to make. The warp is created rolling the fiber or threads around the two bars. The weft is then handmade creating pieces of an incredible rich texture of material combinations.
