5 AMAZING TIPS TO STYLE YOUR OFFICE AT HOME

In these times, were know we are working at home, it is essential to have a nice space, were we can feel good and be efficient. A space where we can be creative and productive.

Creating this office at home can help us forget a little bit about the COVID-19 and focus in our self and work.  That’s why we recommend you use these 5 tips to re decorate and create an amazing home office.

  1. A GOOD SPACE TO START

Find a place in your home where you can feel comfortable, it is ideal that this place is far away your bedroom, so you focus more in your work and leave the bedroom to your relax time and sleeping time.  Search for a space that is organized and well ventilated, if you find it, you can know start moving some furniture to decorate it.

 

  1. THE LIGHT IS EVERYTHING

Light, light, light, where there is light, there is life. The space you choose need to have a good source of natural sun light, but if you don’t, you can try using some warm led bulbs to ambient space and one cold led bulb for the desk lamp.

 

  1. EVERYTHING ABOUT COLORS

Know the fun part, colors. Color can make you feel good, happy, relaxed, stressed, and more. For an office we recommend you use some ocean blue, moss green, some white or grey tones and browns, these colors represent nature, these will help you concentrate more and get the work done at time.

To add more textures and forms to the room, you can add wood accents, textiles like throw pillows or hanging textiles, candles, plants and some throws for the cold days. Know the ergonomics. For a comfortable afternoon working in the computer, is important to use a good chair. The chair needs to be at the right high for your desk, so your eyes are looking straight to the computer, and have backrest shape like a “S”. Know a day you can find standing desks in stores; this type of product helps the blood circulation in your system. If you don’t have a professional office chair or a standing desk, don’t worry, you can use what you have at hand and incorporate some stretches to your work time and do some breaks to go walk outside and let you muscles relax.

And finally, the smell. A good smell when you enter your office is the best thing ever. A Good scent can elevate your energy and make you feel relax. For this you can add some natural candles with essential oils.
